BOOK NEWS

Two happy reports:

  1. This June 25 to July 2, we returned to the inspiring beach location of the book Janey Olsen, Famous Artist of the BeachPurchase more copies HERE.

From our quaint rented beach house on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, my special assistant Tonya Robbins, Rob, and I cooked in the kitchen, enjoyed viewing the active Atlantic Ocean from the beachfront, and planned each day for a week. We met delightful people who found joy, healing, and inspiration for themselves or their loved ones, and enthusiastically bought copies of the book:  school teachers, independent book store owners, tourists, a young dancer on her way to a performance, a pontoon boat captain, a grieving widow, our waiter from the Froggy Dog restaurant,—and so many more! We saw beautiful sites in the area: beaches, lighthouses, tall maritime forests, shimmering oceans, and the historic waterfront in Manteo.  Meeting children’s wildlife book author 91-years-young Suzanne Tate was a highlight for all of us. Her talented illustrator James Melvin took us for a Sunday visit and we now have a copy of her newest book for children, Crabby Lady looks back Life stories. View Photos Below

2. We have a new book out called  Five True Rusty Stories, about Rob’s real-life experiences as a boy in Tampa Florida with his beagle puppy named Rusty. True stories include Rusty and the Pancakes, Rusty and the Bones, Rusty and the Cheese, Rusty and the Postman, and Rusty and the cat. Purchase your copy HERE.
